As part of its commitment to military veterans, Trinity Health is partnering with the U.S. Army and Army National Guard to provide job opportunities for service members leaving the service.
The partnership became official July 18, as Trinity Chief Financial Officer Taylor Wilson and Army Commander Brig. Gen. Jon Erickson put their signatures on a partnership agreement. The event garnered coverage from multiple media outlets, including KMOT TV, KX News and the Minot Daily News.
The U.S. Army Partnership for Your Success (PaYS) Program, in cooperation with over 1,200 partners, guarantees Soldiers five job interviews and possible employment after their service in the Army. The program is available to guard, reserve and the active duty components of the service. It’s designed to help service members prepare for a career after the Army by connecting them with employers who understand the skills, discipline and work ethic that military service members bring to a business.
The program is part of a long-term U.S. Army effort to help Soldiers forge professional relationships with businesses and encourage business owners to look to the Army as a plentiful and reliable recruiting source. It aligns well with Trinity Health’s mission and values emphasizing integrity and a service-first philosophy.
Wilson, whose own son serves in the military, accepted General Erickson’s commendation on behalf of Trinity Health, which has received numerous honors through the years for its record of employing veterans and Guard members.
