Dr. Martin Rothberg first joined Trinity Health’s heart surgery team in 1992. He completed residencies in General Surgery at Creighton University Affiliated Hospitals in Omaha and in Cardiothoracic Surgery at University of Pittsburgh Affiliated Hospitals. Prior to coming to Minot he practiced Cardiothoracic Surgery at St. Joseph Hospital and the VA Medical Center in Omaha and served as assistant professor of surgery at Creighton University. He is board certified in both General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery. In addition to being an active surgeon, Dr. Rothberg serves as a clinical professor of surgery at the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences Northwest Campus in Minot. He’s also a past assistant dean of the campus.
