Trinity Health is pleased to welcome Alexis Harvey, MD, to our general surgery team. Dr. Harvey received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin before earning a Doctor of Medicine from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon graduation, she completed a general surgery residency with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Harvey is excited to contribute to the overall health of the Minot community. A member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Medical Association, and the Association of Women Surgeons, she enjoys reading, gardening and birdwatching in her free time.

Abdullahi Adamu, MD
Trinity Health is pleased to welcome Abdullahi Adamu, MD, to our Neurology team, where he will focus on conditions of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. A native of Nigeria, Dr. Adamu earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Bayero University Kano College of Medicine in Nigeria. From there, he earned a master’s degree in public health focusing on epidemiology and global communicable diseases from the University of South Florida in Tampa. After completing an Internal Medicine internship at Louisiana State University, Shreveport, Dr. Adamu completed his Neurology residency at the same institution. A member of the American Neurological Association, American Public Health Association and the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria, he enjoys watching soccer, volunteering in the community and spending time with family.
Seema Rao, MD
A member of our general surgery team, Seema Rao, MD, comes to Trinity Health after completing a general surgery residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Before then, Dr. Rao received her Bachelor of Science in Physiology with a Minor in Social Studies of Medicine from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. From there, she earned her Master of Science in Medical Sciences from Mississippi College in Clinton and her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington. A member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons, Dr. Rao has a lot of training and experiences that she is looking forward to bringing to Trinity Health. A Winnipeg native, Dr. Rao enjoys spending time with family, reading, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, swimming and playing the piano or flute.
Fritzie DeLeon, FNP-C
Fritzie DeLeon, FNP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner and part of our nephrology team. A native of the Philippines, Fritzie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. From there, she received her Master of Science in Nursing from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. An experienced nephrology nurse with over 19 years of experience in the field, Fritzie is looking forward to focusing on prevention and limiting the progression of kidney diseases. A member of the American Nephrology Nurses Association, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission, Fritzie enjoys camping and fishing during the summer, as well as traveling and shopping
Mireille Mbah, MD
As a new member of our nephrology team, Mireille Mbah, MD, specializes in diagnosing and managing conditions involving the kidneys. A native of Cameroon, Dr. Mbah received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in chemistry from Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Md. From there, she earned her Doctor of Medicine from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Upon graduation, Dr. Mbah completed her internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern. She is passionate about medical education and training the younger generation. Dr. Mbah enjoys spending time with family and is looking forward to bringing her best and taking adequate care of patients.
David Min, MD
Trinity Health is pleased to welcome neurosurgeon David Min, MD, to our medical staff. Dr. Min is board certified in neurological surgery and fellowship trained in spinal surgery. He brings more than 20 years of experience providing surgical care to people with brain and spinal disorders due to disease or trauma.
Originally from Houston, TX, Dr. Min earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and remained there to complete his internship and neurological surgery residency. He went on to complete a year-long fellowship in complex spine surgery at Indianapolis Neurosurgery Group in Indiana.
Since then, he has provided neurosurgical care to patients at centers in Oklahoma, Utah and Wisconsin, utilizing minimally invasive techniques as well as disc replacement cervical spine surgeries. Most recently he served as Chair of Neurosciences at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s in Milwaukee, WI.
Thomas Nordquist, DPM
Dr. Nordquist provides surgical and nonsurgical treatment for foot and ankle disorders. He performs total ankle replacements and fusions, rearfoot and ankle reconstructive surgery, foot and ankle fracture care, diabetic wound care, peripheral nerve surgery and general podiatric care. Born in Tofield, Alberta, Canada, he moved to Minot during his teenage years and graduated from Minot High School. He received bachelor degrees from Brigham Young University and Rosalind Franklin University, along with a Master of Science in Health Administration and Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago.
Dr. Nordquist completed his DPM residency at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL, with an added credential in rearfoot/ankle reconstruction. He completed a reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery fellowship at the Northwest Illinois Foot and Ankle Fellowship with emphasis in Charcot reconstruction, Illizarov external fixation, total ankle replacement and peripheral nerve repair.
Dr. Nordquist is thrilled to be back in Minot and enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, hiking, winter activities and cycling. He enjoys learning languages and speaks fluent French.
Stephanie Velimirovich, FNP-C
Stephanie Velimirovich, FNP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner and a member of our Ear, Nose & Throat team. She works with otorhinolaryngology surgeons and other team members to manage the care of children and adults with acute and chronic ENT conditions. A Minot native, Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Minot State University in 2008. She began a long association with Trinity Health, serving as an RN in the medical-surgical and OB/Labor & Delivery units and later in CancerCare. She went on to earn her family nurse practitioner credential, completing a Master of Science degree in Family Nurse Practice from the University of North Dakota. Stephanie is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Michael Johnson, MD, FACS
Trinity Health is pleased to welcome Michael Johnson, MD, FACS, to our medical staff as an acute care surgeon. His focus is providing surgical care to patients in need of trauma, critical care and emergency surgery. A board-certified general surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Johnson brings three and a half decades of surgical experience to his position. He currently serves as a Clinical Instructor in Surgery with the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences. A Michigan native, Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, Ann Arbor, and completed his internship and general surgery residency at the Medical Center of Delaware in Wilmington. Post-residency, he returned to Michigan to begin 30 years of practice encompassing general, trauma and vascular surgery. Later, he turned to locum tenens work as a change of pace, serving patients in the upper Midwest, including hospitals in Bismarck, Grand Forks and at Trinity Health. Impressed by Trinity’s new surgical facilities, he chose to return to permanent practice at Trinity Health. He and his wife of 40-plus years have four children and several grandchildren.
Colin MacColl, MD
Trinity Health is very pleased to welcome Colin MacColl, MD, to our general surgery team. Dr. MacColl is board-certified with over 30 years of surgical experience. He’s knowledgeable in all aspects of general surgery, with strong clinical interests in breast and bariatric surgery.
A Saskatchewan native, Dr. MacColl’s surgical interest was inspired by his mother, a nurse with a fly-in clinic that served multiple rural communities in northern Saskatchewan. Occasionally she needed to bring patients into their home to provide stabilizing care, including surgical procedures.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan – graduating with distinction, he completed a four-year general surgery residency at the University of Calgary, followed by a laparoscopic surgery fellowship at McGill University in Montreal. Later, he completed his fellowship in laparoscopic bariatric (weight loss) surgery at Tufts University, Boston.
Dr. MacColl has practiced in Canada and the US. He was on the general surgery staff of Altru Health System in Grand Forks from 1999 to 2009. Prior to joining Trinity Health, he had a 15-year association with Peacehealth in Eugene, OR, where he established and directed the hospital’s bariatric surgery program.
Dr. MacColl is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. He’s a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery. He also serves as Associate Clinical Profession of Surgery with the UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
