Moayed Ibrahim, MD, a medical oncology and hematology specialist, has joined Trinity Health’s cancer care team. He provides care to cancer patients using anti-cancer therapies such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and hormone therapy. He is also trained in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the blood.
A graduate of the Hashemite University Faculty of Medicine in Jordan, Dr. Ibrahim did his internal medicine residency at East Tennessee State University/Quillen College of Medicine. After completing a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Texas, he accomplished his hematology/oncology fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans. He was selected as chief resident and chief fellow during his training.
Dr. Ibrahim is board certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine and board eligible in medical oncology and hematology. He’s been published in peer-reviewed publications and has been recognized with multiple academic and research awards, including the 2020 American Society of Hematology Abstract Achievement Award.
