(MINOT, ND) – The Trinity Health Center for Diabetes Education will host a free program, ‘Budget Tips with Diabetes,’ Tuesday, January 30, at 5:30 p.m. in the Trinity Health Community Conference Room located at Town & Country Center, 1015 South Broadway.
Diabetic educators Ilene Olson, RN, and Sarah Rimatzki, RN, BSN, will share tips on how to manage diabetes while living on a budget. ‘Eating healthy seems like it can cost a lot more, but there are strategies you can use such as planning meals, buying some items in bulk, and knowing where to look for low-cost foods that are diabetes-friendly,’ Olson said.
The event is part of an educational series of Trinity-sponsored programs to help people manage diabetes. Reservations aren’t required but recommended by calling the Center for Diabetes Education at 857-5268.
