Addiction Internships

Trinity Health Foundation provides a stipend for Addiction Student Interns. One recent intern had the following to say about the financial assistance she received, “This internship with Trinity’s chemical dependency unit will allow me to expand my knowledge about addiction counseling and help me learn new skills and further enhance my current level of expertise. This internship will help me gain work experience by practicing with a licensed addiction counselor. It will also help me meet other professionals in the chemical dependency field and see the role they play in our patient’s lives,” said Sommeral Turner. The stipend for these interns is made possible through a generous gift from a donor.

Radiologic Technology Scholarship

This scholarship is made possible through the Michelle Keller Radiologic Technology Endowment fund within Trinity Health Foundation and benefits students from the Trinity Hospital School of Radiologic Technology.

Nursing Scholarships

Trinity Health Foundation continues to address the projected shortage of nurses across the United States through its Nursing Scholarship Program. The goal of the scholarship program is to build a vibrant and talented pool of nurses who will provide the best care possible and improve the health and wellness of our region.

Upon learning that they were selected for a scholarship, some of the recipients shared the following comments:

“This scholarship means so much to me. It not only boosts my confidence and reassures me that Trinity will be a wonderful place to work, but it relieves so much stress and worry. This scholarship will allow me to be a better mother and student instead of worrying about picking up extra shifts to make ends meet. The opportunity given to these students would not have been possible without the many wonderful donations that have been given to the Nursing Scholarship Fund.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota Caring Foundation has recently partnered with Trinity Health Foundation to sponsor an additional scholarship to help with the ongoing nursing workforce shortage.

We cannot thank our donors enough for not only making a difference in the lives of these students, but for also impacting the lives of the patients and families that these students will serve daily upon their graduation.
