Free Car Seat Check
December 3 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Is your car seat:
- Right for your child?
- Properly installed?
- In safe condition?
- Recalled or expired?
Car seat checks are hosted by the Minot Fire Department and the Minot Car Seat Coalition. The Coalition consists of First District Health Unit, Trinity Health, Minot Fire Department and other Community Partners.
Seat Checks are by appointment only. To make an appointment, call First District Health Unit at 701-837-5190. If leaving a message, please give the following information: number of seats to be checked, make and model of vehicle, ages of child(ren), brand and model of car seat and preferred time of check on scheduled date.
- Please allow 45 minutes per seat.
- All car seat checks will take place at Minot Fire Station Number 1, 2111 10th St. SW, Minot. (Enter through the north garage doors.)
- If you have a cough, fever or shortness of breath, or are not feeling well, please call 701-837-5190, leave a message with your name and callback number, and arrangements will be made for a seat check on a later date.
