The Trinity Health Center for Diabetes Education will present an educational program, “Medication Madness,” Tuesday, March 3, at 5:30 p.m. in the Trinity Health Community Conference Room at Town & Country Center, 1015 South Broadway.
Pharmacist Ramona Sorenson, PharmD, CDE, will discuss diabetes medications and offer tips to help patients achieve better outcomes.
“Patients may be prescribed multiple medications to control their blood sugar levels and decrease their risk of developing other health conditions,” Sorenson said. “As pharmacists, we’re here to serve as a resource to patients and healthcare providers to assure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective diabetes medication use.”
The free program is part of the center’s ongoing educational series, Keys to Diabetes Success. The focus of sessions for 2020 is “Back to Basics” diabetes care. Reservations aren’t required but recommended by calling the Center for Diabetes Education at 857-5268.
