Trinity Health Outpatient Nutrition Services will offer a cooking class, “Stir Fry Sauces,” Tuesday, April 12, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Outpatient Dietitian Kayla Cole, RDN, LRD, will offer recipes and tips for making homemade stir fry sauces that are healthier than store-bought but just as tasty.
“Stir frying is a great way to boost nutrition and increase vegetable intake,” Cole said. “That’s why it’s important to complement those fresh ingredients with a sauce that is wholesome and healthful, but still amps up the flavor.”
The class will be held in the Trinity Health Community Conference Room at Town & Country Center. A $10 fee will be charged to cover the cost of food and recipes. Class space is limited. RSVP is required by calling 857-5268 by April 11. People must bring their own mask to wear throughout the class.
