The Role of a Trinity Hospital Volunteer

A Trinity Hospital volunteer can have a variety of duties including:

• Providing informational assistance, wayfinding/escorting, and more for the hospital at the Information Desk
• Offering sales assistance and product explanation to drive sales for the Auxiliary at the Gift Shop
• Aid with charting

Requirements to Volunteer

• Must be at least 14 years of age
• Interview to determine interests and possible area of placement
• Provide information on health requirements
• Provide two non-related personal references
• Complete Trinity Health Volunteer Services orientation
• Complete specific service area orientation, if applicable
• Comply with Trinity Health confidentiality policies
• Agree to meet and uphold Trinity Health’s mission, vision and behavioral expectations

Directions for submitting your application:

1. Click on Volunteer Application found in Downloads.
2. Fill out application
3. Save application to your computer’s desktop by clicking ‘Save A Copy’ and then click on ‘Desktop’ and ‘Save’
4. Open your e-mail program (Outlook, Outlook Express, etc..) or e-mail website (Yahoo, MSN, etc..)
5. Compose a new e-mail, and send to [email protected] and in the subject line, type ‘Trinity Health Volunteer’
6. Click on Insert and File or the Paper Clip Icon
7. Click on Desktop
8. Click on Volunteer Application
9. Click on Insert
10. Click on Send
