The Trinity Health Foundation hosts its 22nd annual Building Hope Women’s Golf Tournament Monday, June 17, at Souris Valley Golf Course. Registration and breakfast begin at 9:30 a.m., and the tournament gets underway at 11:00.

Foundation Director Al Evon says the women’s tournament and a men’s golf event held later in the summer both provide financial support for the Trinity CancerCare Center.

“In addition to providing direct financial support to those battling cancer, the CancerCare Patient Assistance Fund has been able to provide patients with in-kind gifts such as gas cards, wigs and compression garments, as well as therapeutic programs like yoga, art therapy, and writing therapy,” Evon said.

Last year, the two events raised more than $77,000. “The more money we raise, the more money we can use to positively impact lives,” he added.
