(MINOT, ND) – Trinity Health’s Pediatric Therapy Department invites children with special needs and their families to visit the Magic City Discovery Center Thursday, February 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. The center is located at 100 34th Avenue NE.
Children and their families will have a chance to explore the children’s museum and science center during this inclusive event. The Magic City Discovery Center features an indoor fun and learning environment with various interactive exhibits in an inclusive and accepting environment.
Pediatric occupational, physical, and speech therapists will be on site to answer questions regarding Trinity Pediatric Therapy and provide a free developmental screen for those interested. Children are welcome to attend, regardless of whether they are registered in any Trinity Health pediatric therapy program.
‘Trinity Health’s Pediatric Therapy Department continues to strive to provide community events for all children,’ said Krystal Butgereit MOT, OTR/L, a pediatric occupational therapist. These events provide opportunities for families to have fun together, meet friends, and work on generalizing skills in an accepting environment.’
The event is free to families, thanks to a sponsorship from the Trinity Health Foundation.
