(MINOT, ND) – Trinity Health will observe American Heart Month with a Heart Health Fair Saturday (Feb. 25) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the J.C. Penney Court at Dakota Square.
Close to a dozen booths will focus on various aspects of heart health, including heart medications, women’s heart health, diabetes and heart disease, smoking cessation and what to do if you think you’re having a heart attack or a stroke. Another booth, ‘Portion Distortion,’ will focus on serving sizes of various foods and how super-sizing portions leads to obesity.
Cholesterol and blood glucose screenings will be available at a cost of $15, and there will be free blood pressure checks.
