(MINOT, ND) – Shelley A. Killen, MD, a physiatrist board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, has joined Trinity Health.
Dr. Killen helps patients restore loss of mobility and function due to injury or disease, and serves as medical director of Trinity’s RehabCare Center. She’s also board certified in Electrodiagnostic Medicine, a subspecialty that uses techniques such as electromyography and nerve conduction studies to diagnose neuromuscular conditions.
A graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, she completed her PM&R residency at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston. She joined the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Medical College of Ohio, where she served as assistant professor and later became medical director of Comprehensive Outpatient Services. In 2000 she joined CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck, serving as medical director of the rehab unit until it closed in 2016. In 2002 she was named North Dakota Occupational Therapy Advocate of the Year. Dr. Killen is a Fellow in the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
