Diabetes Center Planned For Town & Country

Minot area residents with an interest in diabetes have a New Year’s gift in store for them. Trinity Health is fast-forwarding plans to establish a Center for Diabetes Education at Town & Country Shopping Center. Remodeling work is underway, with an opening date expected sometime after the first of the year.

The new center will be housed in space previously occupied by The Hub tavern at the north end of Town & Country Center. Diabetes Education Coordinator Deanna Westman, RN, BSN, CDE, said the new location represents a major improvement over the current site in Health Center-5th Avenue. Parking, accessibility and convenience will be the big advantages,” Westman said. “”The added space will also enable us to evaluate our services and expand them in certain areas.””
