Trinity Health paid tribute to its long-term employees Tuesday (Feb. 18) at a service awards banquet at the Grand Hotel.

Certificates were presented to 104 staff members who marked milestone anniversaries with Trinity last year. Jean Crites, a nursing assistant in Trinity Hospital’s Ortho/Neuro nursing unit, was honored for 45 years of services. Eight employees received awards for 40 years, including Robert Bangen, Pharmacy; Deborah Elker, Mary Swafford and Kim Vitko, all Trinity Homes; Dr. Byron Grubb, Dermatology; Lana Nelson, Nutrition Services; and Mary Grossman and Donna Falcon, both Laboratory.

CEO John M. Kutch praised recipients for a year of notable achievement, including recognition as a Top 50 Heart Hospital, earning an A in patient safety from the Leapfrog Group.
