Trinity Health has adjusted visitation at Trinity Hospital, Trinity Hospital – St. Joseph’s, and all outpatient and clinic facilities, from maximum to moderate restrictions.

Effective January 4, 2021, one asymptomatic adult visitor will be allowed per day at a patient’s bedside or to accompany a patient to an appointment. No one under age 18 will be permitted. Anyone with respiratory symptoms or who is COVID-positive will be barred from visiting.

Exceptions to the one-visitor policy include patients in the pediatric and newborn intensive care units, where two parents or legal guardians will be allowed. Patients receiving end-of-life care may have up to three visitors, with preapproval required for visits by minor children.

For Addiction Services and Inpatient Mental Health at St. Joseph’s, adult family members designated as integral to patients’ programming will be allowed as directed by the behavioral health team.

No one will be allowed to visit patients who have tested positive for COVID-19, with the following exceptions:

• • COVID-positive pediatric patients – limit to one parent or legal guardian
  • COVID-positive maternity patients with newborn – limit one support person
  • COVID-positive end-of-life – pre-approval required for all visits

Hospital cafeterias will remain open for service, with social distancing required. All lobbies and waiting rooms are closed to visitors.

Outpatient facilities include Health Center – Medical Arts, Health Center – East, Health Center – West, Health Center – Town & Country, the CancerCare Center, Health Center – Riverside, Plaza 16, Trinity Health South Ridge, Trinity Health East Ridge, dialysis clinics at Trinity Hospital – St. Joseph’s and Belcourt, and community clinics in Williston, Velva, Mohall, Kenmare, Garrison, and New Town.
