- Responsibilities include:
- Communication and dissemination of information to APPs
- Provide input for job descriptions and performance standards
- Provide input for organization bylaws for APPs
- Orientation, continuing education, and preceptor/mentorship programs
- Promote use of evidence-based practice and participate in research activities within the organization
- Input for APPs retention, recruitment and job satisfaction
- Integrate within department of nursing councils and medical staff committees
