Social Worker/Case management:
Dedicated social workers and managers facilitating patients' care along a continuum to achieve optimal health, access to care and appropriate utilization of resources for each individual patient.
Physical Therapists & Occupational Therapists:
Trained to choose the best activities and exercises for each individual. They will show you how to properly use assistive devices, protect your new joint, and teach techniques that can be used during your activities of daily living to achieve full recovery at home or another facility.
You will meet your anesthesiologist on the day of your surgery. Your anesthesiologist will discuss the anesthesia to be used and explain how the drug works. They will discuss what you can expect upon waking up in the recovery room after surgery.
Trained to assist with providing patients with the proper safe and effective use of medication. Our Pharmacy staff is knowledgeable in the latest research on new medications.
Our goal when you come to our joint replacement center is to transition you from a chronic joint pain and/or degenerative joint disease to living with greater mobility and independence. To achieve this, you, the patient will be involved in all aspects of your care during your stay. It is your responsibility, as well as our staff to work toward your independence by the time you leave our hospital.
