Douglas Powell DO

Dr. Powell is fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology, a field of Radiology that uses image-guided catheters to diagnose and treat disease in a less invasive manner. Procedures include treatments for vascular conditions, cancer, and diseases of most of the body's organs. A graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Powell completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at MSU and Oklahoma State University in Tulsa. Following residency he received fellowship training in Interventional Radiology (IR) at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and at Cleveland Clinic, where he focused on cardiac imaging. He later practiced in Oklahoma at Hillcrest Healthcare System and the University of Oklahoma Medical Center, where he served as Assistant Professor of Health Sciences. He is board certified with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Interventional Radiology.
