Family Birth Center | Breastfeeding Education

Breastfeeding Education & Consultation

When mom experiences problems with breastfeeding, Trinity provides support from five lactation experts, as well as well-trained and experienced nurses in Trinity's nursery and OB areas.

Support is available 24-hours a day, before, during and after a hospital stay and delivery. Breastfeeding education has been found to increase the success and duration of the breastfeeding experience.

Breastfeeding Basics

The birth of a baby can present many challenges for women who will be breastfeeding their babies. Breastfeeding Basics provides useful information that will help with the establishment of this process. We encourage you to attend the class prior to delivery, but this program is also available to women who have recently delivered. All classes are held from 7:00pm-9:00pm and are free of charge. Limit 12 per class.
